The “I AM” Encounter Gathering is an annual faith-based empowerment summit hosted by author, speaker, scribe, and encourager Beverly E. Barracks. Held each year the day after Good Friday, the Gathering brings believers together for a powerful time of prayer, worship, teaching, reflection, and spiritual renewal.
The next gathering will take place on March 27, 2027, marking the 8th annual “I AM” Encounter Gathering. With the theme “I AM THAT I AM,” this gathering continues the heart of the Gathering: helping believers see themselves through God’s truth, speak life with confidence, and walk forward with renewed identity and purpose.
Created for those who desire deeper identity, stronger faith, and personal transformation, the Gathering centers on the power of God’s Word, biblical declarations, and intentional spiritual growth. Through prayer confessions, scriptural teaching, worship, and guided reflection, attendees are encouraged to move from reflection to activation.
At the heart of the gathering is Beverly’s unique voice as a faith-based scribe. Her work helps participants not only hear the Word, but write, reflect, map, and apply it to their own lives. The Encounter creates space for spiritual activation, renewed identity, and practical faith-building that continues beyond the event.
